There seems to be a recurring theme of illness and heart conditions in your drawings, specifically Eichi (and I believe Homura once as well?)
I'd love to hear your interpretations on the two's illnesses, and why you decided to focus more on cardiovascular disease for Eichi, who's condition hasn't been explicitly stated, if you don't mind! π

Eichi doesn't have any actual name or diagnosis for his illness. 'Tenshouin family illness' ? It's anime mysterious chronic illness, the writers are able to materialize new symptoms to drop on Eichi at a whim, so it would be impossible to give him a real diagnosis, genetic illness he inherited from his fathers side and he got a particularly bad case.. π€ whether Eichis illness is more Respiratory or cardiovascular is hard to tell, mostly because anything that effects one will affect the other, the focus on hearts is primarly that I just enjoy drawing them ( lungs are cool also! ) but I do think it's likely more respiratory, so maybe I should be drawing more Eichi lungs. π« as for why I focus on his illness, partially because it's integral to his character, partly because I enjoy hospital aesthetics and gorey art Β―\_(γ)_/Β― personal fantasy would be for Eichis Fs3 to be yami kawaii/ menhera themed like god intended. π©·
For Homura it was stated she has/had a heart disease but either it was cured when she became a magical girl, or when she healed her eyes it healed her heart also - Hercondition is never given a name like Eichis, I think Homuras illness is important to character and motivations even if it's not present for most of the series π again same for Eichi, I like hospital aesthetics, I just haven't drawn as much hospital themed art for her. Maybe soon. πββοΈ
